A continuation of ’The chronicles of William’, written under the pseudonym Dathan in the style of C. G. Richter. John Anderson is sometimes identified with the professor at the University of Glasgow, 1726-96. Dathan the Jew was the pseudonym of Christoph Gottlieb Richter whose work the chronicle of William, son of George this imitates.
